Spokesman of the MOD, Col. Vladimir Drik, has announced that the modernized version of the legendary Su-25 (pictured above), the Su-25UBM, has successfully completed all flight tests. The Su-25UBM is a heavy modernization of the Su-25, and can serve as a trainer (since it’s a 2 seater) or a strike aircraft. The Su-25UBM has a new radar, can carry the latest Russian air-to-ground weaponry, and features new avionics. It can operate both day and night, and during poor weather conditions.
