New Russian Armored Vehicle

This vehicle is rumored to be a special purpose armored assault vehicle, code named “Ansyr”. The client is believed to be the Russian MVD. The tender for the development of the vehicle took place in early 2011. The vehicle is designed to support special operations, patrols, and reconnaissance, all while offering the crew enhanced protection. The vehicle can operate successfully in temperatures ranging from -45 degrees C to +50 degrees C, and at altitudes of up to 3,000 meters. The vehicle can cross various types of terrain, and at any time of the year and day. The vehicle is an all-wheel drive with lockable inter-axle and cross-axle differentials and an all-wheel independent suspension.

The vehicle can go from 0 to 100 km/hr in less than 25 seconds. The vehicle is fully armored (the windows are bulletproof, as well), and has level 5 protection. The vehicle has a design specially made to withstand explosions from mines and grenades under the crew compartment. Even when all tires are deflated, the vehicle can continue for at least another 10 kilometers at a speed of 30-40 km/hr. The windows are equipped with armored curtains that protect from bullets and shrapnel. The vehicle comes with a 3 year warranty and has a shelf life of at least 10 years. The vehicle can forge through water with waves not exceeding 300 mm. The vehicle may be equipped with a diesel or gas engine. The tires have adjustable pressure in order to change the vehicle’s ground clearance. The tires can maintain a low level of pressure after being hit with up to four 7.62 mm bullets from an AKM. The vehicle can be equipped with various types of weapons, such as the 12.7 mm Kord machine gun, the 7.62 mm PKM machine gun, and the 30 mm AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher.
